Artificial takes a leap into our private lives in 2020

Hello everyone!!!

I am back on board to discuss the newest technologies that have Artificial Intelligence incorporating within them, and also to let you know about a few discoveries.

First,
If you have an IPHONE with Siri, you need to read the link below.

https://heinonline.org/HOL/LandingPage?handle=hein.journals/lyclr29&div=13&id=&page=

Apparently there have been issue's pertaining to the privacy of your phone, and its ability to always listen to you in your residence, work areas etc....

Which brings up the next question about Artificial Intelligence....

What should Artificial Intelligence be used for, once it is developed? Should we put (Gates) as to what it should be allowed to be installed upon?

The question is a relevant question due to all the privacy issues we have been having this past year. I am wondering if there will be limitation on how it will be used, or will it be allowed to be installed on any items to be used freely. As we already know, (HEY GOOGLE) an (SIRI), are already using the Artificial Intelligence, but what else has the AI software installed within your home (Without your Approval?).

Let me know what you think about my post today!!

AI is being developed to replace our Brains and how we think!!

I shared with all of you how AI will begin to take over the world.

This week as I researched the updated information on AI, the update involved how Elon Musk had invested in the AI technology to replace our brains.

See Below:

The other report I found involved the Military investing in the AI technology and putting it into use with our Soldiers?

See Below:

Here is my thoughts on the subjects above...

First of all,
When the military begins to invest heavily in a new Software platform or a new technology, then this newest technology is HERE TO STAY....

Second...

If Elon Musk is investing Heavily into the AI technology, then once again it is HERE TO STAY..

Will there be any limits to what the technology can do?

We already know that Alexa and other new tech features utilize AI, but where will we as humans place limitations on this new technology?

Classrooms, Operating rooms, our Cellphones, Our Living room Televisions? Will there be any privacy in the future?

Or will we be just as the (George Orwell 1984) book implies?

Let me know your thoughts.

AI will take over the world, but WHEN do you think this will happen?

I know that all of you know by now that AI is starting to creep into our daily lives, but as I was trolling the internet I ran across an interesting article that peeked my interest in the question below:

When do you think AI will take over the world?

I don't mean take over as it (RUN) the united states, I actually mean (When will AI be so entrenched in our daily lives, we will not be able to live without it?)

This reminds me of the Internet/Web and how in the 80's and 90's, it was barely starting to make its way into our living rooms (By use of computers), and now every T.V., Stereo, and vehicle has a connection to the internet at all times.
What is interesting to point out is the advancement in technologies starting in the 70's up until now. As I was researching I noticed that technology in general had not leaped until about the early 70's, then we took off!!!
Which brings me to the NEWEST think I found out about Artificial Intelligence. I ran across an article that mention's how "The AI that will take over the world has already been born"!
Yes, I am pretty serious about the statement above.
Apparently we already have a software that  has been developed, so it can re-develop itself. Sounds crazy right? Imagine something that can re-create itself, then it can place the actual intelligence into this item too, and create more of the same product.
I know what you are thinking about!!! Those movies where we see Robots creating robot, Hollywood seems to be cranking them out on a normal basis, so I know you know what I am referring to.

So, Back to my original Question,

When do you think AI will take over the world? or When will AI be so entrenched in our daily lives, we will not be able to live without it?

Here is a post on the AI that has already been born.

How do you imagine the future? Will you allow Artificial Intelligence in your home?

Hello again,

In the past few blogs I have been posting information pertaining to the following:

* Artificial Intelligence 2200 (What will it look like?)
* Updated information on AI testing in our Schools.
* Can Artificial Intelligence change life as we know it?

I'm going to head a new direction with this post and ask a question that many of you have talked about at home.

How do you imagine the future?

&

Will it (The future) involve Artificial Intelligence in your home?

In the last few weeks, I have been discussing Artificial Intelligence and how it is starting to creep its way into our daily lives without us even realizing the technology exists.

Over the weekend I happened to be over at a department store shopping for a new Washer and Dryer, but decided to make my way over to the Refrigerators. As I walked around in the store, I noticed that the newest Washers and Dryers had a new form of technology, but what really surprised me was the Refrigerators.

The newest additions have a digital platform that allows you to communicate with your Refrigerator. The Refrigerator I happened to be playing with had some form of AI, that allowed it to communicate to the owner when something was getting low, or when an item needed to be replenished.

I then walked over to the audio section, to find a full display of (Alexa) type speakers available for anyone to test out in the store.

As I walked around in the store, the customer service representative approached me with a SMART speaker and told me that we NEEDED to purchase this for our home. I quickly refused to purchase the item, and we left the store without purchasing anything at all.

Upon arrival to our home,  I continued the conversation about the SMART speaker the customer service representative had brought me in the store.

As I sat down in front of my NEW Laptop to do homework, I called out loud to my 12yrs old. All of a sudden something responded out of my computer!

Apparently, the computer I purchased came with an embedded software program that is called, (CORTANA), and it has been listening to everything I have been doing for a few weeks.

I found it odd, that I did not even allow this software to record what I was doing, but it still was operating on my device.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I tried not to allow these devices into my home of residence for fear of my privacy, but somehow it was embedded into the laptop.

SO,
I once again pose the following question:

How do you imagine the future?

&

Will it (The future) involve Artificial Intelligence in your home?

Can Artificial Intelligence change life as we know it?

Hello everyone,

Today I was in a conversation with a friend, and I had a question pop up that I had not considered.

Can Artificial Intelligence change life as we know it?

I know that this question seems a bit out of this world, but it is a real question. The development of Artificial Intelligence, when coupled with robotics is what is causing me to think deeply about the question above. I know all of you have seen movies such as Terminator or Robocop, but the time has come where the robot is no longer only in the movies, and it is becoming the newest invention.
I don't want to get off track, so I am going to stick with Artificial Intelligence and how it can change our lives.
AI once developed can perform many of the actions that humans can perform. Just imagine if you can, Artificial intelligence software working on problems that we HUMANS have not solved for years. The breakthroughs can help carve solutions involving Medicine, which can lead to cures for illnesses we have yet to find cures.

What do you think?

Let me know.......

Current Uses for Artificial Intelligence

Thank you to everyone who has commented on my Blog.

I have been very busy in the last few days, but was able to dig up some factual information in regards to current uses of Artificial intelligence.

I found out that we are actually already in use of AI. It has been used in the Airline industry as pilots place the airplane on Auto pilot, In vehicles on Auto-Drive, and in our Social media applications as Facebook and Instagram in combination with facial recognition software. In the last few days, I have started to realize that it is already HERE around us in use! I think that scientist are tweaking the use, by attempting to get the software to demonstrate emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and creative thinking as humans.

Here is another post that will allow you to see where we are headed with this technology.

Updated information on AI testing in our schools.

As I told many of you, I am back again with new UPDATED information on the Artificial Intelligence. As I perused the internet, I found out that we are already testing AI in schools. Apparently AI was given the green light to be test against 8th grade tests. On the very first try the technology failed, but on the second try (A few months later), the AI technology was able to pass the test. This would mean that the technology actually LEARNED how to pass the test.

Is this the first step towards allowing the AI technology into our educational systems?
